Jackie Chan came to us as just a foster, and was adopted out. Unfortunately for her new owners, things did not work out as planned and she was returned in winter 2017; shortly after being adopted. She quickly bonded with Willa, and so we kept her here at the clinic.

Willa came to us under interesting circumstances; involving a mad chase through the parking lot of kroger and help from other local businesses. From our understanding, she was deposited out of a car and left one day, causing a bit of a ruckus outside that we just had to investigate.
Although still timid (she's still a kitten) and somewhat wary of humans (especially men), she is slowly warming up. We believe she will be able to follow in her predecessor's footsteps as the hospital greeter and mascot soon enough.

Miss Kitty was with us for about four wonderful years. She warmed our hearts, and was often asked about by our clients if she wasn't roaming around. She adored the children who would want to pet and play with her, and like most cats, ruled the roost.
We are saddened by her loss, but we know that she would not want us to harden our hearts; and as fate would have it, a kitten was deposited on our doorstep about a month later; needing the same love and affection we showed Miss Kitty!

Miss Kitty was our official greeter, our mascot, and our friend. She warmed our hearts and the hearts of many of our patrons. Miss Kitty definitely ruled the roost around here, and she will remain in our hearts forever. Although we never knew when she was born, it broke our hearts to have to put her to sleep in February of 2016.

She would not want us to stay forever in mourning though, and would be happy to know we have taken in a new kitten as our mascot, Willa. (Though, she may not have particularly liked it if she was still with us.)
